The Minnie design Challenge 4 was amazing. The knowledge that was given to us was definitely a game changer. Understanding the inspiration behind your design will help you when trying to create a design or recreate it. Know how process you are planning on using to create the finish product definitely does make a difference on how you will create the design in the beginning.
Understanding the design concepts will allow you to take the design and be able to use in in various ways for various projects.
Learning how to use the line tool to enhance your design and learning how to use the sketch tool will also help elevate your design.
If you missed the challenge, you definitely missed a treat. There were so many lessons taught just by creating this design. You got to understand the difference with crop, subtract, subtract all and weld. Knowing that when using Silhouette weld isn't the same as using weld in Circuit will definitely help Circuit users that use Silhouette to design in. Knowing when to use subtract and subtract all was very helpful for beginners using Silhouette.
I am grateful that I had the opportunity of the VIC session because it definitely showed so much more breakdowns and bonuses from watching it in the free version.
Having the option of doing the I do help so much. Making a mistake while doing the I do and the Professor showing how to correct the mistake without having to start my design all the way over again was truly amazing. Thank you again Shakeya Levell for taking 4 hours out of your Saturday to help us creative peeps continue our learning.
